Schools have found great success in engaging students, parents, and local communities by implementing standards-based Popular Music Education Programs. Popular music education takes place at the intersections of identity realization, learning, teaching, enculturation, entrepreneurship, creativity, a global multimedia industry and innumerable instances of music making as leisure. 

These programs are growing at an exponential rate and school districts, community centers and after-school programs are all discovering that by providing pop music experiences, young people are becoming more engaged in their general education.

Join us at the 2023 National Pop Music Workshop in Huntington Beach, California, June 8-9, 2023. Participating educators will work hands-on with student bands in recording studios on state-of-the-art equipment and receive loads of resources to use in classrooms.

Guest Artists for Songwriting, Copyright, and Production will be in attendance. Reception & Working Lunches included.
